Travelling across rural British Columbia and Alberta you are spoilt by an incredible amount of aquatic scenes. You are treated to numerous beautiful lakes, waterfalls and rivers. There’s even the odd glacier and, of course, plenty of snow depending on when you travel.
Out of all the lakes, Medicine Lake came out top for me, closely followed by the intense blue of Lake Peyto.
This photograph was captured as we drove along the Icefields Parkway, travelling from Jasper to Banff. There are so many different things to look at it in the photograph – the Canadian Rockies in the background, a meandering path in the foreground, a healthy forest to the left, and a damaged forest to the right.
