Shropshire: July 2016

This photograph captures a moment that shouts ‘idyllic British countryside’ to me.

It was taken from the garden of a lovely pub on the way to the Shropshire Hills. The River Severn, pictured, was getting a lot of traffic that morning, with several canoes and small powered boats traversing it while I sat and ate my lunch.

In an ideal world I would have liked to have photographed a river that was more blue than green and a cloudless sky, but it still makes a very nice photograph.
