Walking Lisbon’s streets

I would definitely like to visit Lisbon again, as there was so much of the city that I did not have chance to explore. Note to self: wear more sensible shoes to avoid getting a blister again!

What I did have chance to explore – São Jorge Castle, the Praça do Comércio and the busy Rua Augusta – were a great taste of the city. I had a literal great taste of the city by enjoying the tastiest pastel de nata of my holiday courtesy of Paul bakery.

On a less savoury note, I was surprised at the amount of people (mostly middle-aged men) who approached you selling drugs. Perhaps this is symptomatic of European capitals though it was not something that I had previously experienced.
