Organised chaos

Looking at the photographs I have taken over the last few months, there is one particular shot that could well become my signature.

Unless you are photographing a flower arrangement then, to a lesser or greater degree, what you are photographing has grown and been shaped of its own accord. While a variety of seeds may have been deliberately planted in a specific location, the way the flowers have grown, bending towards the sun or becoming tangled, is nature’s way.

I like to capture this raw, unedited quality in my photographs, using burst mode to take multiple photographs as the flowers sway in the wind. If there is one element that is in focus, I’m happy.
